Sharon Stone likens modern marriages and divorce t
December 2, 2006

Hollywood actress Sharon Stone insists that she would not like to get married in the near future, and adds that she is content being a single mother to her three young sons. Washington, Dec 2(ANI).

The 48-year-old actress has three kids–Roan, 6, Laird, 17 months, and Quinn, 5 months. Her first marriage to producer Michael Greenberg ended in 1987, and she was later married to Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2003.

"I'm not big on marriage. But when I married before, the people I married were very big into marriage, supposedly. When I do something, I do it with a lot of determination. In the modern world, a lot of people get married like shampoo and a cream rinse. Like, 'Let's get married and let's get divorced.' And I can't relate to that," People quoted her as saying.

She also adds that seeing her children love each other so much, laughing, hugging and kissing each other gave her strength to cope with her post-divorce trauma.

Last year during a television interview for her movie Basic Instinct 2, Sharon hinted an interest in bisexuality, stating "Middle age is an open-minded period." However, in an interview earlier this year on the Michael Parkinson talk show, she said she was straight. (ANI)
